The age-old dilemma: which direction to shave your face. You learn something new everyday, so why not learn the proper direction to shave today? Whether you’re learning to shave your face for the first time, or you’re a pro and have been doing it for years, there’s always room for improvement. You may be surprised and learn a better technique!
Some people believe that you should shave your entire face in the same direction, and some people believe that it doesn’t matter which direction you shave, as long as you get the hair off. Neither of these statements are true! There are actually multiple directions to shave your face — depending on which part of the face you’re shaving.
We have put together this interactive guide, designed by Andre Salazar, for which direction you should shave each part of your face. Simply hover over each part and look at the arrow showing you which direction to guide your razor over that hair!
If you prefer text, it will be underneath the picture.
